IBM SupportLine and Alert

AIX Support Line provides answers to customer AIX system questions. The customer receives telephone access to a team of technical specialists who will answer their questions pertaining to AIX system use and operations, and code-related problems. Access to the specialist is usually on the initial call, but any callback during prime shift will be no longer than two hours. Customers will also receive a quarterly report providing them with information about their usage of SupportLine, and help them understand trouble spots and education needs. Alert provides you with automatic notification of critical software problems, and is customized to your software profile (Release and PTF level). Notification is weekly via email, U.S. Mail or FAX.
